Exploring Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa

Having already seen penguins, baboons, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, zebras, many types of antelope and one lion during our time in South Africa – we decided on our very last day it was time to hunt out some street art. Thanks to Juma’s art tours, I knew that Woodstock was the place to go.

I wasn’t sure where in Woodstock. But it couldn’t be that hard, could it?

We began exploring the streets of Woodstock tentatively at first, then with increasing confidence and enthusiasm as we were rewarded with beautiful murals, colourful art and fairly friendly locals at every corner we turned. With the hot autumn sun shining bright and Table Mountain looming magnificently in the background it was an amazing way to end the trip.
